Fr. Michael Alello
Enthusiastic, engaging, and full of energy are words often used to describe Fr. Michael Alello, a newly ordained priest for the diocese of Baton Rouge. A graduate of LSU and Notre Dame Seminary, Fr. Michael officially began his journey to priesthood right here at St. Joseph Seminary College. During the two years he spent here, Fr. Michael was selected to help plan and establish the very first Abbey Youth Festival and his dedication and love for it have never wavered.
Fr. Michael is currently enjoying his first priestly assignment ministering to three parishes along the river in East St. James parish. Active in youth ministry since his senior year in high school, Fr. Michael brings a great deal of knowledge, passion, and love to Catholics of all ages through his engaging and challenging words.
